To ensure a smooth and efficient painting process, please review and complete the following steps prior to and during the project.
Before the Project
Submit Colors
- Email all chosen paint colors to Liane at liane@agwilliamspainting.com before the project starts.
- Need help choosing a color? Work with your sales representative and Liane to schedule a free color consultation with Sherwin-Williams.
Accessibility
- Ensure all work areas are accessible from 7:45 AM to 4:45 PM, Monday–Saturday.
- Remove vehicles from driveways and work areas before 7:45 AM.
Water and Electricity
- Turn on the exterior water supply.
- Ensure exterior electrical outlets are accessible.
- Turn off sprinklers 3–4 days before the project starts and keep them off throughout the project to prevent wet surfaces. (Damage from wet surfaces is not covered under warranty.)
Pets and Children
- Contain or remove pets during the project to ensure their safety.
- Keep children away from the work area.
Shrubbery and Trees
- Trim any shrubs or tree branches that are close to the house or work areas.
Power Washing (if applicable)
- Review our Power Washing Checklist for detailed preparation instructions.
- Inform us of any clogged gutters or leaders before washing begins. (We are not responsible for pre-existing clogs.)
- Ensure pets and children are kept away from the work area during power washing.
- Be aware that moisture may damage thermo window seals during the process.
Porta-Potty Request
- Designate a bathroom for crew use, or let us know if you’d prefer to arrange for a porta-potty.
Document Existing Damage
- Inform the crew leader of any broken or damaged items before work begins.
- Notify the crew of any broken glass or damaged furniture near the work area.

- We have a relationship with Junk Luggers, who can assist with heavy lifting or relocating items if needed. Clients receive a discount for their services. Please let us know if you'd like help coordinating with Junk Luggers.
